Terms of Service

You must be at least 13 years old. You're responsible for keeping your account credentials safe and for anything that happens under your account.

Sporio is a platform that helps people find and organize pickup sports games. We don't run games, employ hosts, guarantee that games will happen, or verify players. Every player joins games at their own risk.

If you host a game, you must post accurate details, treat participants respectfully, and only cancel when necessary. When you cancel a game, participants are notified automatically.

Show up on time to games you've joined, or cancel your spot early enough for someone else to take it. Repeated no-shows can affect your rating.

Sporio does not process payments. If a host lists a paid game, you agree to arrange payment directly with the host. Sporio isn't a party to that transaction and isn't responsible for refunds, disputes, or amounts owed.

Don't harass, threaten, or discriminate against other users. Don't post games that promote illegal activity, violence, or hate. Don't scrape, spam, or attempt to break the Service. We may suspend or remove accounts that violate these rules.

You keep ownership of the content you post (game descriptions, messages, ratings). You grant Sporio a worldwide, non-exclusive license to display and distribute that content in order to operate the Service.

Sports involve physical risk. By joining a game through Sporio, you accept the risks of that activity and agree that Sporio, its team, and other users are not liable for injury, loss, or damage arising from a game.

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sporio isn't liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

You can delete your account at any time by emailing us. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. We'll flag material changes in-app or by email. Continued use of the Service means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec, Canada, without regard to conflict of laws principles.
